The Deaf Community of Maine Recognizes St. Joseph Healthcare with a Special Commendation Award

On September 15, 2022, The Commission for the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and Late Deafened held its 31st Annual Award Ceremony and Tea from 2 to 4 p.m., in-person and virtually on Zoom.

The Deaf Community of Maine presented St. Joseph Healthcare with a Special Commendation Award. Eileen Carroll-Walker and Rosemary Ford were there in person to accept the award.

“This is such an honor. We want to thank the deaf community for allowing St. Joseph Healthcare to provide your healthcare needs. It is part of our mission and culture that all of our staff recognize the importance of language access.
