Where should seniors live? According to the 2022 Senior Living Report, Caring.com ranks Maine 3rd. The report seeks to help seniors discover which areas of the United States are senior-friendly by analyzing 300 cities and all 50 states. The five umbrella categories were health care, senior living and housing, affordability, quality of life, and transportation.
Additionally, Maine ranked 1st for regional air quality and ranked 2nd for patient ratios for primary care physicians and mental health professionals.
