Long-time Healing Arts Commission member Mary Hollister and her husband, Frank Pergolizzi, recently announced that they have included St. Joseph Healthcare Foundation in their estate plans. This bequest will provide support to the Healing Arts Program.
The Healing Arts Program funds are used to purchase art, frame art, repair art, support the Mona Blitz Art Cart, pay for performances by members of the Bangor Symphony Orchestra and host art receptions. It is a fund overseen by a team of volunteers serving on the Healing Arts Commission.
“Through my involvement with the Healing Arts Commission, I’ve seen first-hand how important art is to the healing experience,” said Mary Hollister. “Frank and I have chosen to include the Healing Arts Program in our estate plans so that, when we are gone, the program will receive the support it needs to continue.”
