Last September Mary suffered a bad fall and broke her pelvis. After surgery and during rehab and recovery, Mary learned first-hand how hard it is for a disabled person to access bathrooms and other spaces, even when they are in compliance with ADA standards. It is Mary’s hope that people will contribute to this fund so that St. Joe’s can make some improvements to existing bathrooms, so they can be made even more accessible for people in wheel-chairs.
In honor of Mary’s retirement, St. Joseph Healthcare is hoping to raise at least $100,000 for the Prybylo Accessibility Fund.
