To ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for our patients and staff, volunteers must complete the following before being approved:
Complete the application and two reference forms.
*Once the completed application and two references are received Volunteer Services, we will be in touch with you to schedule an interview and coordinate the following items:
- Attend volunteer orientation
- Bureau of Adult and Elderly Services State Registry Check
- TB test (completed by the hospital’s Employee Health & Wellness team)
- Criminal background check (the hospital pays for the processing fee)
- Vaccination history record
- Flu shot* (health documentation is required, or a shot may be obtained from the hospital’s Employee Health & Wellness team)
*This must be done yearly. You may not volunteer without an annual flu shot.
