Join the St. Joseph Healthcare’s Long COVID Support Group, supported by Heart of Maine United Way, for those experiencing long COVID.
Meetings will be facilitated by Alanna Graham, a Pulmonary
Rehabilitation Respiratory Therapist at St. Joseph Hospital, and Joseph Hartel, a Peer Recovery Support Coach at Bangor Area Recovery Network. Meetings are open to the public with the following objectives:
- Provide psychosocial support, social connections and validation to people and families struggling with long COVID.
- Give individuals an opportunity to share their experiences and what has improved their quality of life.
- Share resources and provide evidence-based Long COVID education.
- Guide conversations to be supportive and empowering.
A space to share your experiences and learn practical, evidence-based strategies to improve your quality of life.
Meetings will be held on the third Thursday of each month from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Chapman Conference Room 243 at St. Joseph Hospital in Bangor.
