The holidays can be a remarkably busy time of year. If you’re hosting family or friends to celebrate, it’s helpful to have a healthy, tasty, easy to prepare appetizer recipe on hand – and here it is!
Ingredients
- 2 (0.7 oz.) slices reduced-fat cheddar cheese, cut into quarters
- 8 flatbread crackers of your choice
- 1 medium Fuji apple cut in 24 thinly sliced vertical pieces
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 teaspoons stone-ground mustard
- Optional – rosemary sprigs
Directions
- Place 1 cheese quarter on top of each cracker. Top each with 3 apple slices.
- Combine honey and mustard in a small bowl. Drizzle evenly over apples. Garnish with rosemary sprigs, if desired.
