Mark Lyerly, MD, is a highly skilled and compassionate board-certified Neurological Surgeon with over 30 years of experience. He earned his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine and completed his residency at NC Baptist Hospital in North Carolina.
Dr. Lyerly is deeply committed to personalized patient care. He believes in taking the time to listen to his patients and tailoring treatments to their individual needs—never approaching care as a one-size-fits-all solution. His philosophy is rooted in providing only what is necessary, ensuring his patients feel heard and respected throughout their care journey.
Beyond his work, Dr. Lyerly is a dedicated mentor, sharing his knowledge and experience with the next generation of medical professionals. Outside the hospital, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and grandchildren, taking walks, and supporting his community through his strong Christian faith and efforts to help those in need.
