Kimberly Files, FNP-C is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner at St. Joseph Orthopedics and General Surgery.  With a career rooted in diverse clinical environments, Kimberly brings extensive expertise in medical care, ranging from the Operating room and the Ambulatory setting to Family & Internal Medicine.

She earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Nursing as well as her Family Nurse Practitioner Degrees at Husson University, Bangor, Maine.

She has spent the majority of her medical career at St. Joseph’s in Bangor, where she transitioned her focus toward trauma orthopedics in May 2024. She furthered her Orthopedic surgical specialization by recently completing the APRN First Assistant course, allowing her to provide advanced intraoperative support.

Beyond her clinical roles, Kimberly is a Retired Veteran (Major), having served 35 years in the United States Air Force.

She has 3 children and 4 grandchildren.  She loves gardening and spending quality time with her family.
