Jonnathan Busko, MD, MPH, MBA, is a board-certified physician in both Emergency Medicine and Emergency Medical Services. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Albany Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in EMS at Carolinas Medical Center. Dr. Busko specializes in Emergency Medicine and is passionate about serving as a trusted interface between patients and the complex systems of modern healthcare. At St. Joseph Healthcare, he primarily serves in a non-clinical role as the Medical Director of Care Delivery Transformation, where he focuses on identifying and addressing gaps in healthcare access—both internally and in rural and frontier communities across Maine.
Outside of work, Dr. Busko enjoys hiking with his family, kayaking, and both cross-country and downhill skiing.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, a lifetime member of the Wilderness Medical Society, and a member of the National Association of EMS Physicians.
