Dr. Jenny Diep is a true New Yorker, having lived there practically her entire life. She graduated cum laude from Columbia College, with a BA in biology. She attended State University of NY at Stony Brook Medical School, where she earned her medical degree. Subsequently, she completed internal medicine internship and residency at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY, and rheumatology fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center, NY. Immediately after her training, she joined a private practice group, where she worked for over fourteen years.In addition, for over a decade, she held a voluntary clinical instructor position at Mount Sinai, where she precepted residents and fellows in the weekly rheumatology clinic. Dr. Diep is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology.
In the setting of the pandemic, Dr. Diep had decided to take a year off to be home with their daughters during remote learning. She and her husband met in medical school, and they are proud parents of two girls, ages 10 and 12. As a family, they enjoy spending time together watching baking shows, hiking, and traveling around the world.
