Jason Fonseca, ACNPC-AG, is a Nurse Practitioner with St. Joseph Pulmonary Medicine at St. Joseph Hospital.
Jay began his career as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department before expanding his expertise to respiratory care. He brings more than 20 years of bedside nursing experience, including a decade with LifeFlight, where he cultivated a unique approach that blends medical and nursing models to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care. Known for his empathy, attentiveness, and resourcefulness, Jay strives to create an inclusive environment where every patient feels welcomed and supported.
Outside of work, Jay enjoys spending time with his family, reading fantasy and science fiction as well as medical history, and collecting vinyl soundtracks from classic 1990s video games.
