Last December’s Lights of Remembrance event brought the community together to honor the loved ones no longer with us. The evening featured performances by both the St. John’s Youth Choir and John Bapst Choir, while Mr. and Mrs. Claus (played by VP of Medical Affairs Dave Koffman, MD, and Lynn Robinson) spread holiday cheer. Guests enjoyed hot cocoa and cookies from the Nutrition Services team as they admired the holiday light display, masterfully arranged by the Facilities Department.
The event supported the St. Joseph Healthcare Healing Arts Program, which enhances healing through live music and rotating art exhibits throughout St. Joe’s. The ornament program helped us create a lasting memorial to those honored this year.
Key contributors included St. Joe’s volunteer Sandi Guerette, Head Chef/Production Manager Jacob Blanchard, Nutrition Services Supervisor Abigail Sibley and the choirs led by Colin Graebert and Kevin Birch. Support also came from St. Joe’s Marketing and Communications, Foundation and Facilities Departments, along with Tony Bourbon from Maintenance, his son Jace and Director of Mission Integration and Spiritual Care Tahlia Hadley.
The evening provided a meaningful space for joyful celebration and peaceful remembrance of cherished loved ones.
