The Da Vinci Xi® surgical system, purchased through the bequest from the estate of John Marshall Webber, aims to reduce the number of invasive surgeries and shorten recovery times. Currently St. Joseph’s offers robotic assisted surgeries for umbilical hernias, gallbladders and inguinal hernias if patient meets selection criteria. The program aims to expand in the future to include a broader range of procedures, enhancing accessibility to robotic-assisted surgery. St. Joseph Healthcare will continue to focus on delivering high-quality personalized care to the community with this advanced technology.
